ONLINE DEPOSIT, PRE-AUTHORISATION AND REFUND POLICY

For all reservations, we take card details to secure your table however there is no charge made to the card in advance. Please note, if you do not arrive for your reservation, a £10.00pp charge is applicable.

Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required for parties of 9 or more at the time of booking unless the reservation is for a Christmas booking or special occasion; when any party size can be asked for a deposit. If the reservation is cancelled in less than 48 hours then the deposit will be forfeited. In the event a deposit refund is approved, there will be an admin fee of £10.00. Deposit payments can be made in cash, credit or debit card and is taken in pound sterling. If you have any queries please contact us.

LOST PROPERTY

Il Rosso accepts no responsibility for private property whilst on the premises, including accepting any liability should lost property be returned for any reason to someone who is not its owner - eg if someone makes a false representation to the venue of ownership of property.

Property that is left on the premises will be kept for a period of three months, after which it will be disposed of.

In order for property to be reclaimed, a detailed description of the item(s) and/or proof of ID (identity), and date that the item was left will be required.

While every effort will be made to identify the possible owner of lost property (which is likely to involve searching of the item) and then make contact with them, the Venue will not return the property to that person unless they provide the details set out in the previous paragraph.

We no longer recognise Trip Advisor as a reliable or truthful source of information.

We would like to thank all of our customers who have left a review on Trip Advisor over the years.

We have been fortunate to receive many glowing reviews, also some that are completely untrue, which we feel is unfair.

We do our best, and yes,, sometimes things don't go as they should. We are always more than happy to change dishes to make sure everyone who dines with us leaves happy and content. Our managers and their staff are happy to help in any way possible.

We cannot, however, do anything about any complaints when the guests have left and then decided to review us. We have CCTV cameras all around the building, including in the kitchen, which make it very easy to review any visit ourselves. We also record all telephone calls, have records of all on-line bookings, save copies of all pre-orders, and keep an eye on all bills.

That said, nothing is infallible, genuine mistakes do sometimes occur, we are human after all.

In view of this, we have decided to take the stance of NOT replying INDIVIDUALLY to reviews.

We will answer any emails with either complaints or praise, we appreciate all email communication.

We sincerely thank you all for continuing to visit us, all we ask is that anyone with a complaint has it addressed at the time of their visit by the Duty Manager.
